V-day package ARRIVES!

Can someone explain to him HOW ON EARTH you get the cookies OUT of the box?
He was very distressed about the whole "gimme my cookies" business.
For aw hole minute because mama knows when its time to give in!

Even sickly little men know that cookies make EVERYTHING better :D

This is my gorgeous little cookie monster in the first 3T shirt he's ever worn.

A little long, but otherwise it fits GREAT! I predict he'll wear 2T for a few more weeks!
At least until his next growth spurt :D

Sickly Men :(

Somebody woke up sniffly and snuffly and all full of yucky mucus.
So, mama dosed him up with some medicine and snuggled him until he fell asleep.

He slept for 2.5 hours here on the couch and then came into the bedroom where
I was talking on the phone to Auntie Jenny and demanded I snuggle him. He
immediately passed right back out for another hour (so, I called Heather).

Throughough ALL of Smidget's napping, where was Dada?
Asleep on the couch next to the Smidget, of course!
After Smidget's 3.5 hours of napping, he and Mama had to go WAKE UP Daddy!

Birthday Party!

Lots of excitement leads to a VERY long nap.

Mama thinks he's quite SILLY.

But, she secretly enjoyed being snoozed upon.
But don't tell the monster that :D

After naptime, General Axton got back to work.
He does not seem impressed by mama's excuse about dinner being late because someone fell asleep on her...

Some days...

Somebody even had to come home from preschool early because he was so crabby.
So, Mama took him to Pizza Hut and let him down lots of pizza and pasta.
He passed out full and happy on the way home and had a very good nap.


Some days---all we need is our Mama.
Because being a toddler is hard work and VERY frustrating!

Mama kisses and a shiny camera make it all better.

Well, kisses and snuggles after his nice long nap.

A day in the life...

Smidget gets a new carseat!
We LOVE our new Sunshine Radian 80SL.
They might cost $200, but they are MORE than worth it!!!
1. Metal core (not foam or plastic)
2. SUPER latch system (holds babies over 40lbs)
3. SUPER DUPER comfy!!!
4. AMAZING safety ratings!
5. And its just so damn pretty :D

Somebody was not into letting Mama get things done.
Not even a sippy of "ChocoJuice" (aka Chocolate Milk) was pleasing him!

The funky face he gives me when I don't let him do whatever he wants.

And then...we've discovered the problem.
Somebody needs hugs and snuggles and NAPS!
Its off for nappy time we go with our Mama!

You forget...

How big he is until you find him being totally vulnerable and baby-like.
Then you think "but you're so BIG! I forgot you were just a little guy!"

Yep, sometimes you forget---
until you find a smushy dirty face snoring on your couch.

now the docs told him to leave it until his pneumonia clears
because they don't want him stirring up dust and breathing it in).

Sometimes when I fold laundry my son wants to wear whatever I'm folding.
So I put Dada's t-shirt on him...and he did THIS when trying to take it off...
And ran around for 10 minutes with it like that :D

Pudding & Pie

After a little pudding, we make sure we always brush our teeth.

THIS is why my son has gorgeous pearly white teeth.
He LOVES to brush his teeth :D

I wish I'd let it brown a little longer, but it tasted AMAZING!!!

I went outside to change laundry in the garage and my neighbor was staring like a nut.
He pointed it out and I just HAD to see if I could get a picture of it.

The line across the halo was an exhaust trail from a plane/jet.

Chocoholic Baby Chef

Someone found Mama's Ghirardelli truffles and is mad because he got caught :D
He started asking for "wash" and I turned around and found THIS guy :D

"Stirring" the mix for Mama's oreo pie.
