Today, The Smidget learned to kiss.
I was 10 minutes late leaving Dada and Smidget (i had to run a quick errand) because I just HAD to have all the kisses in the world! He kept giving me a kiss or two and then giving Dada a kiss or two. Dada was holding him and I leaned in to kiss him bye and he KISSED ME. He put his lips on my lips and did a smooching motion. No smooch noise, but DEFINITELY a real kiss!!!
He grabbed my cheeks and KISSED ME!!!
Then he kissed his Dada, and Dada said "i'm not leaving, dude!"
So he kissed me again.
Then he kissed Dada. Dada said "not me! Mommy!"
So he kissed me again.
Then he kissed Dada and turned to me and kissed me again and started waving bye to me.
So that was the end of that...
Except I had to pick him up and snuggle him and give him 8954679207 kisses and tell him how much I loved him and wanted to squishy him!
EEEP! My lil man gives big-boy-kisses now.
I'm totally heartborken/elated.
