After doing Allison's maternity shoot today, I gave Smidget the balloon I bought as a prop for the shoot (which was really just an excuse to buy Smidget a balloon!) He took it outside and flew it like a kite in the wind. He LOVED flying his balloon--- but we had to tie it to something so it wouldn't float away. The handiest thing we had? A doggy rope-bone chew toy. Hey, it worked AND encouraged the dogs to play with Smidget! 
This was his reaction when we told him it was time to go INside!
